THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DUE AT 2359 TONIGHT. PLEASE NOTE THAT. ONLY 3 PAGES REQUIRED
For this assignment, you will need to decide on at least 10 questions to ask a living elder (refer to your book for the correct age of an elder) in an interview. You then need to craft their answers into a paper that tells their story (see the assignment guidelines below for more details).
Attached are two documents that offer guidance for you: you can use the questions document to get ideas for what questions you want to ask (feel free to create questions of your own and to ask more than 10), and the sample interview assignment will give you an idea of how to craft a story from the answers and how to format your document. Note: There are instructions on the sample interview explaining how to use the document as template for formatting your own interview, just follow the steps explicitly and make sure all of your content is original.
Guidelines for assignment:
- Must ask at least 10 questions (and address all 10 in the paper).
- Reference your book that supports ideas, theories, answers etc., related to the older adult.
- Must format them as a story (not just question and answer) and use specific examples to create a narrative.
- Must reflect on what you have learned from the interview and how it applies to what you are learning in the course.
- Must be a word document that is free of grammar and spelling errors
- You should use APA format for this paper, including a separate title page with running header.
- Include the list of your 10 interview questions on a separate page at the end of you paper (before your reference page).
Save your document with the file name lastname_interview.doc (or .docx). Upload your document into this drop box by the date listed on the course schedule in the syllabus to receive credit. This assignment is worth 40 points.
Make sure that your document meets all of the requirements for form and content (don’t forget to use the rubric to check that you are meeting these requirements).

Possible Questions for Interview
Below are a few questions you might ask in your interview with an elder. You will need to ask at least 10 questions, so you will have to come up with some other questions on your own. However, these should help you start thinking about appropriate types of questions for the interview.
§ What are some of the most important lessons you feel you have learned over the course of your life?
§ Some people say that they have had difficult or stressful experiences but they have learned important lessons from them. Is that true for you? Can you give some examples of what you learned?
§ As you look back over your life, do you see any “turning points”; that is, a key event or experience that changed over the course of your life or set you on a different track?
§ What’s the secret to a happy marriage?
§ What are some of the important choices or decisions you made that you have learned from?
§ What would you say you know now about living a happy and successful life that you didn’t know when you were twenty?
