Part 1: Original Tone Row
Use the pitches in this chromatic scale to write your own tone row. You may use each pitch only once. Do not write the pitches in the chromatic scale order.

Part 2: Original Twelve-Tone Composition
Create an original twelve-tone composition using the tone row you created in Part 1. The composition should meet the following criteria:
- Create a twelve-tone that composition is at least 32 measures long.
- Include the original tone row in the title of the composition.
- Present the prime or original tone row in the first four measures of the composition.
- Use the tone row at least four times in the composition.
- Write the tone row in retrograde form at least once during the composition.
- Include an appropriate title that supports the theme of the composition.
- Include a time signature.
- Include a key signature.
- Use a variety of notes and rests.
- Add at least five dynamic markings using the Expression tool.
- Add at least five articulation markings.
- Select an appropriate tempo using a tempo marking or metronome marking.
Submit your original tone row file from Part 1 and your original twelve-tone composition file from Part 2 to your teacher by the due date.
