This may be difficult to achieve with the type of building construction, because of wall thickness and the height of the structure.

  5. In order to require a standard, it has to be adopted by Code. Look in Chapter 80, Referenced Standards and see if the the standard from NFPA 914 listed in question 4. was adopted by reference in the California Fire Code.
