    • What is the Pendleton Civil Service Reform Act?
    • What did it replace and why did it replace it?
    • What significant event helped to push its passage through Congress?
    • What is its impact on the public sector today?
  • Does the paper follow APA formatting guidelines?
  • Are the sections in your paper (e.g. Introduction, Literature Review, Conclusion) all clearly marked in the paper?
  • Is there a logical flow of your ideas from beginning to end?
  • Are there any sentence construction errors (e.g. comma splices, run-on sentences) or spelling errors
    • In other words, did you take the time to carefully review your paper for mistakes
    • Believe it or not this is heavily frowned upon in both the academic and professional sectors
